If you are encountering quirks or inconsistencies with your data, try these:

  • Rebuild Catalog Index 
    Mage::getSingleton('catalog/index')->rebuild();
  • Rebuild Flat Catalog Product 
    Mage::getResourceModel('catalog/product_flat_indexer')->rebuild();
  • Inventory Stock 
    Mage::getSingleton('cataloginventory/stock_status')->rebuild();
